 Established
in 1986, BeautyWorx was fast on the
rise to becoming one of the hottest, hippest salons in Northeast
Philadelphia. BeautyWorx was one of
the first full-service unisex salons in the area
to offer more than just hair services. Known for quality service
and a friendly down-to-earth staff, BeautyWorx'
rise in popularity was partly due to the dramatic, real-people model
makeovers. Owner Lois Burak came up with
the concept to photograph BeautyWorx
clients, as an alternative to using vendor-supplied posters. Ms.
Burak's approach has since been heavily utilized by salons all over.
Looks from subtle elegance to glamorous theatrics, clients love
seeing themselves, or family and friends on the walls of BeautyWorx
as well as our advertisements.
 The
creative ad campaigns were the brainchild of owner Lois
Burak. "The many creative ideas expressed in our ads are
a reflection of what can expected inside BeautyWorx."
Burak's goal is to continue in a combined effort with her staff,
to bring clients new and exciting aspects of the beauty industry's
products and services. Her commitment to educating the BeautyWorx
staff will ensure cutting edge and quality services.

4 levels of salon, BeautyWorx service menu offers tanning, the best
of nails, hair, and skin, along with a variety of professional beauty

BeautyWorx has steadily grown into
one of the hottest full service salon in NE Philadelphia. BeautyWorx
grew in popularity due to the reputation the salon has for being
progressive and innovative. The salon offers high end services and

BeautyWorx Manager Netty Mason feels
one aspect contributing to why clients love to visit BeautyWorx

of our most successful Client Model photo shoots were created through

Clients lacking time can indulge in a mini-treatment . "Many
of our treatments are short on time , but not on service."
The30-minute facial treatment
is a COMPLETE Hydrating facial. A mini-massage
can range in time from 5 to 20 minutes and BeautyWorx
recommends you concentrate on a specific area of the body. (i.e.
neck, shoulders, legs and feet). The Intermezzo facial treatment
that is offered FREE with any hair service is an excellent 15 minutes
of "stress fighting relief."
BeautyWorx Style
Makers are comprised of talented hair designers, colorist, makeup
artist and YON~KA certified skin specialist The BeautyWorx
Nail dept is recognized for their sanitation procedures and the
application of artificial nail enhancements without the use of illegal
MMA and drills.
