• We sanitize and disinfect all reusable manicuring tools in accordance with state regulations and industry "best practices."
• Any tools that can't be disinfected are disposed of or given to the client after a single use. Feel free to bring your own tools, which we will still disinfect before using them.(For additional protection and assurance we have available for purchase Star Nail Implement Kits).
• We clean our hands prior to each service, and ask that you do the same.
• We use clean towels for each client.
• We never use a blade to cut skin, including callouses. Heavy callouses need to be taken down gently and sometimes over the course of a few services.
• We use ONLY quality, professional-grade legal and safe products (NO MMA).
• We take steps to minimize your exposure to odors.
• All technicians are PA State-licensed practitioners.
• We evaluate the health of your nails before your service. Be sure to let us know if you have any health conditions - like diabetes - that may affect your service.
• We will make recommendations for at home maintenance of your nails.
• We regularly attend advanced educational programs to enhance the quality and safety of your services.

• All tools/implements used during your nail services are disinfectable and/or disposable.
• Your feet are immersed in a Pedi-Soak crystal, which contains the ingredient Chloramine-T, an effective spa sterilizer
• Highly-concentrated liquid sterilization disinfectant/germicide solution is used to thoroughly to clean our pedi-spa whirlpool jets and screens. The Beautyworx Disinfecting schedule log is posted in plain view for everyone to see.
• Hot water and chlorine bleach is used after every client. The solution is run through each unit for a minimum of 15 minuntes.
• Surrounding areas are cleaned with highly-concentrated disinfectant/germicidal solution and/or alcohol.
• As well as the whirlpool foot spa, all implements are washed and dried thoroughly after EVERY client.
• All implements are kept in a UV sterilizer unit or immersed in barbicide solution.
• Beautyworx also utilizes a Steri-dri fumigant to protect our clients from fungi bacteria
• For extra reassurance, we have available for purchase Star Nail Client Guard Kit.
